Why hello there! So glad you stopped by. So here’s my story….
I’m Indonesian-born and Texas-raised. I was conditioned to think scientifically and mathematically, even earned degrees in Engineering and Math. But I was meant to tell stories, and life had given me some stories to tell. So I did what any artful soul would do - I moved to Los Angeles to become a storyteller.
About My Experience
I started in film development, and one of the first films I worked on was Van Wilder III. Yes, it was a straight-to-DVD movie, and no, Ryan Reynolds was not in it.
I took a break from entertainment to work in finance because I was a chump for money. Hey, we’re all chumps at some point in our lives.
I eventually made my foray into advertising in order to return to my creative roots. As an agency producer, I’ve worked across a range of budgets, from the flashy to the scrappy.
About My Values
I’m a creative producer, with a passion for creating. There’s nothing I can’t make, do, or learn on the fly; it just takes a little engineering, a bit of creativity, and A LOT of coffee.
I don’t believe great work requires genius. Instead, great work requires failing early, failing often, and learning from those failures. It’s about talent earned, not given, and I’ll always strive to earn my talent.
I believe work can be fun, but I also know that it involves being the first to arrive and the last to leave. I am always seeking out challenges and solutions to make not just our work better but ultimately, ourselves better.
Let’s make cool stuff together.
